Ishita Agarwal, a BTech CSE student at JKLU, recently completed her fifth semester as a visiting student at International Institute of Information Technology Hyderabad (IIITH).
The transition into IIIT Hyderabad's rigorous academic environment proved to be both challenging and immensely rewarding. There, Ishita had the opportunity to learn from world-class faculty, delve into rigorous engineering disciplines, and network with peers from across the country.
During her semester at IIITH, Ishita engaged in a variety of subjects such as Data Analytics, Statistical Methods in AI, Information Retrieval & Extraction, and Fairness, Privacy, and Ethics in AI. She also participated in hands-on projects, notably an in-depth analysis of document-level sentiment, which enhanced her technical expertise and critical thinking skills.
Despite the demanding workload of five advanced courses, Ishita thrived, supported by the camaraderie of her peers, the dedication of the faculty, and the intellectually stimulating coursework.
She is grateful for the support from her faculty mentors at JKLU, who facilitated this enriching experience, as well as for her family, whose steadfast support has been invaluable.
Looking forward, Ishita is eager to apply the skills and insights she gained at IIIT Hyderabad to her upcoming projects and professional endeavors.
