Ragging is strictly prohibited and is recognized as a criminal offence. The University Grants Commission (UGC) has enacted the "UGC Regulations on Curbing the Menace of Ragging in Higher Educational Institutions, 2009" to prohibit, prevent, and eliminate ragging across Indian universities, colleges, and institutions. In compliance with these regulations, JK Lakshmipat University (JKLU) has implemented stringent anti-ragging measures designed to prevent incidents and promptly address any unacceptable behavior.
An Anti-Ragging Committee has been constituted for monitoring, conducting surprise checks, and addressing complaints related to ragging. Students and parents are encouraged to contact any of the committee members listed below should they encounter any difficulties or concerns related to ragging:
