The Learning Resource Centre (LRC) at JK Lakshmipat University serves as the intellectual heart of the campus, designed to meet the academic and research needs of students, faculty, research scholars, and visitors.
It is dedicated to making information and knowledge accessible to a wide audience, with an extensive collection of books, journals, and other academic materials across a variety of fields, including management, engineering, technology, and allied subjects.
The LRC is equipped with modern technologies such as an RFID-based security system, ensuring the safety of materials and the seamless circulation of resources. Dedicated group discussion rooms with air-conditioning, LED screens, and projectors provide spaces for collaborative work, while the seminar hall, serves as an ideal venue for training sessions and user orientations.

The JKLU Learning Resource Centre (LRC) offers a comprehensive range of borrowing services for all reading materials available in the general stack. This includes the circulation of materials for check-out and check-in, as well as the shelving of resources. LRC resources are managed through KOHA, a web-based integrated library system installed on a Linux platform. KOHA streamlines library operations, providing modules for acquisition, cataloging, circulation, serial control, and OPAC (Online Public Access Catalogue). This system supports MARC21 and UNIMARC standards for professional cataloging and z39.50 for copy cataloging from renowned libraries. KOHA’s user-friendly interface simplifies the search process, enabling users to search across all fields or within specific categories to find the resources they need.
Visit OPACAll registered students, faculty members, and staff of the University are eligible for membership to the LRC, allowing access to its resources and services for academic, research, and administrative purposes.
Individuals and organizations can also become deposit borrowers, with borrowing privileges and refundable deposits
